Come join the NFC Automation Hackathon! Tap your iPhone on a provided NFC tag and run customized scripts for the Mac associated with that tag. We will start by talking about how NFC can trigger events and explore ideas for using your new superpower. We will brainstorm ideas for different automations and possibilities, try some provided automations, and then create our own. We will have a repository to submit your automation share with others. We will also talk about using different ways to automate processes on your Mac (shell scripts, AppleScript, Shortcuts, webhooks, and more!) and things you can do.
What you will need:- An iPhone XS or later to trigger automation. If you don't have one, you can still tap with your finger.
- A Mac. If you don't have a Mac and you have an iPhone, you can work with others to test your automation. Or just automate things on your iPhone. That's cool too.
