At Texas A&M we have 3000+ Apple devices and also a very small team. Last year we unified 18 Jamf servers into one and in order to help us keep devices compliant we have used multiple open source tools (Ex: App Auto-Patch, Installomator and Setup Your Mac) and developed multiple automation workflows. This focus on automation has allowed us to free up our time to focus on new improvements to make the Apple device experience better on campus. We hope to spark some ideas that could work for you.
